I am writing with a further update of where I am with my fundraising for Islamic Relief’s Water4Life campaign.
Due to the amazing response that I received from brothers and sisters I have upped my target from £250 to £500. To date I have raised £370 towards my £500 target, with £130 still to go.
I still need your help to make up the shortfall. If I can get 65 people to donate just £2 each by sending a text to 70070 with the message ‘BDIH47 £2’ then my target will be reached insha Allah.
You can also donate any amount via txt. Send txt to 70070 with the message BDIH47 and amount in pounds. e.g. BDIH47 £1. No need to register or log on. It’s as simple as that.
Forward this email to your contacts asking them to donate what they can.
Post a link to my justgiving page on your Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other Social Networking sites.
Make Du’a that Allah helps me in this endeavour.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported, The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“Allah, the Exalted, says: ‘I have no reward other than Jannah for a believing slave of Mine who remains patient for My sake when I take away his beloved one from among the inhabitants of the world.’”
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise, and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even though it were little.”
‘Ayesha (RA) reported that Asma’ the daughter of Abu Bakr (RA) came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) while wearing thin clothing. He approached her and said:
“O Asma’! When a girl reaches the menstrual age, it is not proper that anything should remain exposed except this and this. He pointed to the face and hands.”
