Eid Mubarak.
We hope you had a great day with the family insha Allah, despite being in lockdown.
We are working on a new project and are seeking 10 groups or individuals, between the ages of around 7 and 11, to make some short Dhul Hijjah videos based on our book ‘the Young Explorers Adventures in Makkah’.
The idea is to divide the book into 10 bite size chunks to read, narrate, animate, or act out as you see fit. You can be as creative as you like.
Videos will need to feature the relevant chapters from the book in some shape or form and will need to be ready for the last week of Dhul Qa’dah to be published on your social media profiles on the designated day in Dhul Hijjah.
The idea is a pretty simple one (I hope!)
I provide you with a free PDF copy of a chapter from our book ‘the Young Explorers Adventures in Makkah’ that you will use it to make a video with your child to post on social media in the month of Dhul Hijjah.
The video could be as simple as your child reading the book to a virtual audience like they do in children’s stories on shows like Cbeebies or you could be more creative and get them to act it out with their siblings or even use toys at home to act it out if you don’t want to show their faces.
More information on the book with links to reviews and excerpts can be found below:

With the prospect of Hajj being cancelled this year, this could be an exciting Dhul Hijjah project to do with the kids at home to teach them about the rites and sites associated with the Hajj and the pilgrimage to Makkah.
If interested please get in touch with us on mail@islamopedia.co.uk or DM us on social media.
We look forward to collaborating with you insha Allah.
Please share with anyone you think might be interested.
Jazak Allahu Khair.
