Christ’s Mass

Christmas, is meant to be,
A mass for Christ,
But the only mass that I see,
Is a mass at the shopping malls,
Trying to buy the presents,
Before the night falls in.
What would Jesus say,
If he were to be here today?
After all,
It is his birthday,
That we’re meant to be celebrating?
Where are the preachers?
Where are the teachers?
The ones that are meant to be,
Teaching us about Jesus.
Instead we have the Telly,
With all it’s useless muck,
Pantos and Fairy Tales,
Where Jesus is unheard of.
Jesus will look down on us from Heaven,
With tears in his eyes,
At the sorry state of his people,
Until one day again,
When he shall rise.
The second coming awaits,
This is what the faithful seek,
When the Truth shall be revealed,
About who Jesus really is.
Until then, let them wander,
Like lost sheep amongst corporate wolves,
Being fed and fed upon,
Heedless of Jesus’ truth.
“And peace is upon me
The day I was born,
The day I shall die, and
The day I shall be raised alive again.” [Qur’an 19:33]
وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ
“And they did Not Kill him, nor did they Crucify him;
but they were Deluded by Resemblance.” -{Surah Nisa, 4:157}
وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا
بَل رَّفَعَهُ اللّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا
“And they did Not Kill him, for certain.
but Allah lifted him towards Himself.
Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.” -{Surah Nisa, 4:157-8}
That’s simply not true. I don’t understand this generalization about Jesus being utterly forgotten. There are millions of Christians who keep the Christ in Christmas. The existence of commercialism among many doesn’t negate this fact.
It’s the same in eid or hajj, muslims are similarly lost like sheep amongst corporate wolves, just look at makkah during hajj or any muslim country in eid
I agree to a certain extent. However, at least with the Muslims (and others like Jews, Hindus etc), our celebrations haven’t completely lost the essence of their origins. Eid is still about celebrating after Ramadan and during Hajj. We still have Muslims attending the prayers etc.
Christmas unfortunately has been hijacked by the secularists as their holiday with no remembrance of Jesus in the households in which Christmas is celebrated.
