“A man said, ‘Messenger of Allah, who is the best of people?’ The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘A believer who does jihad in the way of Allah with his self and his wealth.’ They said, ‘Then who?’ He said, ‘A man who withdraws into a mountain ravine and worships his Lord.'”
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said that:
“You will find that the worst of people in the sight of Allah on the Day of Rising will be the two-faced person who presents one face to a group of people and another face to a different group of people.”
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
‘I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarreling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good.’
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“If you were to rely on Allah as He should be relied on, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning hungry and return in the evening full.”

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“A man giving a dirham as sadaqah (charity) during his life is better than giving one hundred dirhams as sadaqah (charity) at the moment of his death.”
A man came to the Prophet and said, “My brother has some abdominal trouble.” The Prophet said to him “Let him drink honey.” The man came for the second time and the Prophet said to him, ‘Let him drink honey.” He came for the third time and the Prophet said, “Let him drink honey.” He returned again and said, “I have done that ‘ The Prophet then said, “Allah has said the truth, but your brother’s abdomen has told a lie. Let him drink honey.” So he made him drink honey and he was cured.
The Messenger of God (peace and blessing be upon him) said:
“The characteristics of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he gives his word, he breaks it; and when he is given a trust, he is unfaithful.”
