21 Dhul Qa’dah 1433 | Hadith of the Day | On Blessings and Wretchedness


The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:

“When Allah favours a servant with a blessing, He loves to see the effect of that blessing, and He dislikes wretchedness and the affectation of wretchedness. He loathes the demanding beggar, and loves the one who is shy, modest and virtuous.”

“When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased).”
