Ayeina’s #Alhamdulillah For Series Gratitude Journal

Ayeina’s #Alhamdulillah For Series Gratitude Journal

(Recall the time) when your Lord declared, “If you express gratitude, I shall certainly give you more, and if you are ungrateful, then My punishment is severe.” – [Qur’an 14:7]

Many months ago as I was searching through Instagram for artists to collaborate with me on my book the Young Explorers’ Adventures in Makkah, I came across the @Ayeina_Official Instagram page. The illustrations that they did captured my imagination but what impressed me even more were the captions that went with it, so much so that I asked them to do some illustrations for my book to which they kindly agreed.

I loved the way that they turned every day things that we take for granted and converted them into an #Alhamdulilahforseries teaching us to be grateful for each and every blessing that we have, big or small.

As the caption suggestions continued to pour in, so did the number of illustrations and before you knew it there were almost 100 illustrations and captions to enjoy, each with their own unique artwork to go with it. Some of my favourite captions include

‘Alhamdu Lillah for Fatherhood’

‘Alhamdu Lillah for Chai or Biskut’Alhamdu Lillah

‘Alhamdu Lillah for Halal Meat Anywhere Anytime’

‘Alhamdu Lillah for Mosque at a Walking Distance’

I am pleased to know that Ayeina are currently working on releasing the #Alhamdulilahforseries as a book / journal and look forward to its formal release.

Our Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Our Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

© By Mahboob Roshid (Age 7), from the Wednesday Circle, edited and arranged by Abu Zaynah

Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
Was a Messenger
He wasn’t a bad person
He was the best Believer

He worshipped Allah
He was the best drawrer
He was a very strong man
He was a forgiver

He is not a changer
He was the first to say Bismillah
He is a role model
He always prayed to Allah

He was the last Prophet
He was the best of Prophets
He battled his way through in Makkah
Then he lived in Madina

He was our Prophet
He prayed in the Night
He taught us
Not to fuss and fight

Poem: You were sent by Allah

You were sent by Allah

© By Hamza Hussain (Age 10), edited and arranged by Abu Zaynah

You were sent by Allah
You were named Al Amin
You were born in Makkah
In the year of Al Fil

You are the last Messenger
Who was sent from Heaven
You lived a tough life
With no blood brethren

You learnt the Qur’an
At 40 years old
And through the Angel
The Qur’an was told

You taught mankind
How to live right
You are a guide for us all
In how to live life

A poem about the Prophet

A Poem About the Prophet (peace be upon him)

Muhammad (SAW) is our role model
Not Messi, not Ronaldo
Live your life as a Muslim
Not like a troll

He was born in Makkah
Battled his was through
He was very smart
For him knowledge was easy
Like one plus one which is two

The Qur’an was revealed to him
When he was forty
In Mount Jabal Nur
Through the Arch Angel Gibril
And during the Hijra
He hid in Mount Thur

He came with Islam
His enemy was Shaytan
He taught people from far far lands
And walked on the very hot sand

His face was like a gem
His companions were women and men
He always did his best
And never did he rest

So let this be an example
And a lesson to you
Follow him (SAW)
And be nobody’s fool

Agent Max and the Epic Bomb By Imran Hussain©

“Tim and Tom are one of the worst criminals ever!” Bob shouted, infuriated. “Forget that! They’re probably coming back, we’ll hide, and if we see them we’ll catch them!” I explained. So that’s what we did. It was eight o’clock when we started our – rather my – fantastic plan! We waited two hours but there was no sign of Tim and Tom, then, just when we were about to give up, we heard footsteps. “Can I lift it up this time?” someone said. Then I saw them. “No.” Tom answered. Tim had green eyes and cropped brown hair, he had a very long nose and epic ears. Tom was identical except he had blue eyes and black cropped hair. I guessed they were brothers. Bob was shivering again, but not with excitement, but fear! “What’s wrong?” I whispered. A pale Bob pointed at Tim and Tom. They were both wearing green shirts and green trousers, and then I saw what Bob was really pointing at. It was Tim’s pocket; inside his pocket was a gun!

Football Bully by By Sa’eed Rahman

Looking at Jay at the door step with that worried look brought back all those bullying memories. Ben asked Jay, “Why have you got a worried look on your face?” Jay says, “Because Billy is back in town and he has joined the football team again.”
