This Ramadan I would like to share a brief post with you every day asking you to do three things in the day as part of our 30 Day Ramadan challenge.
- The first will be a ‘Deed of the Day’ highlighting a different deed that you can do each day.
- The second will highlight a specific Prophetic Food that you can eat to incorporate a Sunnah Food item in your diet.
- The final will be a charity spotlight recommending a specific charity for you to donate a small sum to in order to support their work.
Let us begin below the actions for Day #27 bi’iznillah.
Deed of the Day: Visit a Sick Person
“The person who is strong is not strong because he can knock people down. The person who is strong is the one who controls himself when he is angry.” [Bukhari – Adab Al Mufrad]
Prophetic Food of the Day: Vinegar
It was narrated that Jabir (r.a) said: “I entered the house of the Prophet with him and there was some bread and vinegar. The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Eat; what a good condiment is vinegar.’” [Sunan an-Nasa’i]
Charity Spotlight: Walou
Walou is a British registered charity (No. 1128951) and a member of the Consortium for Street children.
