This Ramadan I would like to share a brief post with you every day asking you to do three things in the day as part of our 30 Day Ramadan challenge.
- The first will be a ‘Deed of the Day’ highlighting a different deed that you can do each day.
- The second will highlight a specific Prophetic Food that you can eat to incorporate a Sunnah Food item in your diet.
- The final will be a charity spotlight recommending a specific charity for you to donate a small sum to in order to support their work.
Let us begin below the actions for Day #24 bi’iznillah
Deed of the Day: Make Abundant Dhikr of Allah
‘the ones who believe and their hearts are peaceful with the remembrance of Allah. Listen, the hearts find peace only in the remembrance of Allah.’ [Qur’an 13:28]
Prophetic Food of the Day: The Fig
‘By the fig and the olive,’ [Qur’an 95:1]
Charity Spotlight: Children of Jannah
At Children of Jannah, we started with a mission and despite our rapid growth, that mission is still the same as it was the day we began.
Our mission is to meet the needs of grieving families in the UK and beyond by providing practical, emotional and spiritual support.
We believe that by educating families, friends and professionals we can raise awareness of loss and grief to better support those who have suffered the devastation of losing a child.
We continue to fulfil our mission from that very first phone call, to the amazing support network, resources and training that we offer today.
